Nestled in a strip center you walk through the doors and inhale the possible flavors and aromas of the freshness. The eclectic artistic atmosphere is a wonderful backdrop to the home made delicious options on the menu. The fresh baked breads paired with the unique flavors and presentation that left you wanting to only try something else that will put a smile on your face. The magnolia blt took a simple sandwich and transformed it into a beautiful, tasteful sandwich. Order something, sit back and just wait for the flavors to overtake you!

Would never have visited this gem if not for the reviews I saw here. We stopped in for a loaf of bread and a cup of coffee. Sampled the bread and decided on a loaf of the sourdough. My husband isn't a fan of sourdough but one bite and he was hooked. The bread is very flavorful. Soft on the inside and a little crunch on the crust. Give it a try while in Beaufort. You won't be disappointed.

Yummy. Recommend the sandwich with garbanzo beans, avocado and almonds. Bread was delicious and fresh. A nice alternative to fried southern foods.

Rick and Debra: you never disappoint! The baguettes say it all: fluffy and moist inside, with a micro-thin crispy crust. Authentically French. Your sandwiches are inspired and the soups are intense with flavor. When we moved from the NYC area to Beaufort we expected to give up some things we loved, like real bread, charcuterie and fine cheeses. You've made these things available not just in the area, but right here on Lady's Island. Bravo and Brava!

We had a great experience here. We ordered a birthday cake that was amazing! It truly tasted homemade. Highly recommend the carrot cake. We also had to choose some other goodies to take home. The blueberry and banana nut muffins are excellent. The staff was very helpful, even with our last minute order. Loved this bakery and will definitely return.

There was a line nearly out the door when we walked in and that's always a good sign. A tiny little cafe tucked into a sketchy strip mall behind the huddle house. Totally worth the wait and the crowd. The bread was thick and flavorful and did not overpower my amazing fried Green tomato BLT. The fried chicken sandwich was incredible too, and homemade fries and chips pushed it over the top. And of course - dessert! We had some Cookies which were huge and delicious and not too sweet. The only thing my companion found to complain about was the lack of sweet tea. Will definitely be back when we are in the area again!

I still love the food, but avoid this place because the service is so ungracious. Always feel like I am imposing by being there, rather than welcomed like a guest.. Too bad, the food is teriffic.

This place is the real deal! Delicious food and amazing homemade bread... Try the Bahn Mi sandwich, one of the best I have ever had. I lived in Chicago where you could get one if these all I've and this is better than them all! Great job!

I love this place. They just opened a month or two ago, and are still working out the kinks, but their menu offerings are well worth any inconveniences suffered. Whoever said that "Man does not live on bread alone." has not tried one of Rick & Debbie's baguettes. One wonders how something so simple can be so satisfying, and although their 'bread & butter' is bread and pastries, their breakfast and lunch menu has been a nice surprise on our four (and counting) visits to their store in Beaufort.

Packed for lunch (and for great reason), our family had 4 different sandwiches, all of which were consumed very quickly. The atomism here was great; the staff was attentive and helpful. Our food came quickly and we noticed the lunch crowed filed in and filled the bakery. After eating lunch, we could not leave without a loaf of bread. I'll be back soon. Sorry there are no pictures of my Banh Mi, it looked to good to waste time with a picture.

Pastries are good, but prices are sky-high. Portions are small. I'd expect these prices in Paris or New York, not in a Lady's Island strip mall...

Fresh, local food with great service. Serving up breakfast and lunch, pastries to die for, espresso, handmade pasta, house-made sausage and artisan bread. Yummmmmm!
